Isak Lindberg
My name is Isak Lindberg and I am working with wood, mostly furniture but also sculptural pieces. I am from south of Sweden where I have my company Kharva woodwork in a small town called ”Billinge” in the countryside.
My father was a woodworker and he created many public artwork in Sweden that has inspired me in my work and also with the skills he taught me, the craftsmanship with the chisels and how to reflect artistically while working with the material.

In my artistic approach I create objects made out of wood that looks like it is a soft material, like a curtain, tablecloth and a ordinary kitchen towel. The feeling I want to bring with my art is that the observer gets ”fooled” and in their mind they relate to ordinary object that are soft.

Här är de gjorda utav trä, skulpterade och karvade för att efterlikna våra kära kökshanddukar. Formerna och sättet vi är vana vid att se en handduk gör att ögat ser en illusion av mjukhet och textil.
